is good, and I enjoyed The Real Life of Alejandro Mayta: A Novel
, with an almost apocolyptic view of Lima and the rest of Peru during the late 1980's. Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter
is light and funny.
- Alfredo Bryce Echenique A World for Julius,
about a young boy growing up in well heeled Lima society, is really good.
